I think we should name this event "The Fat 40 Tibble Ride."

May I remind you of the ‘Kenny and the broken crank’ incident? Which is more detrimental to riding, having 1 crank or having a bad back? My bet is that Kenny crushes us all and then after the ride mentions that he wasn’t able to feel his legs during the ride and his back hurt so bad that he had to stop and puke 3 times.

turns out while you’ve been off in gay san francisco, i went out and rode tibble today with esteemed FC troll Tim, from New Zealand (caps used out of respect for Tim, who rocks, and his friend Niel (or is it Neil?), who also rocks).

Tibble, and its accompanying Pine Hollow and Ridge and Mud Springs, are in as good a shape as they are likely to be all year. I’ll be there Saturday (but it probably won’t be as good).

On the upside, I crashed in the final mile right in front of Tim from New Zealand, cracked my helmet, rashed up my lower back, left leg, and have a deeeeeeep bone bruise on my left shoulder. So I’ve got that going for me. Which is nice.
