I often asked myself what kind of xmas present to buy for my father. He is such a passionate cyclist, so now I won't have any problems finding a xmas present for him any longer... ;) Thanks for inspiring me!

I was in Astoria Oregon shopping today, and at a discount store they had two beautiful bikes in the window. One was a tandem...at a cost of $399.99 and the other was a triple seater bike (same as the tandem, but of course with yet another seat) for $459.99. Fatty, I think you should get a triple seater instead of just a tandem. Then you can take more than one of your boys for a ride at a time!

Another gift idea - a membership to your local or state bicycle advocacy organization. Use your holiday spirit to put others on bikes (and get the tax benefits). If you don't readily know who is working on your behalf, visit www.thunderheadalliance.org and look up your state or local organization!

bikemike

That's also a valid question, and the 2 combined could very possibly be a valid question for a PhD thesis.

One egregious omission, oh Fat one. Cash. Cash money says I love you enough to give you two gifts--that of the wonderment of shopping for bike schwag, and b, the cash with which to make your shopping a reality.
