Hey Elden,

Mike Fallis hear (now Canada). Don’t ask, it’s a long story.

Chad posted a picture of our band Dert from the old high school days. What a trip.

First, I am so sorry to hear of your wife’s continuing battle. I lost my mother-in-law to the same and I constantly worry about my wife Carrie and whether it will happen to her or not. The strain can be unbearable at times. She as well as the rest of your family are in our prayers.

As for me I have my lovely wife Carrie and together we have three children – Jack (8), Kahlia (6) and Gabrielle (3). All smart and all a huge hand full.

I’m a tax attorney / UAV light pilot working for Boeing. I currently deploy to all the best places to help counter the GEE-HAD! Of course this means frequent trips to Afghanistan, Iraq and other wonderful destinations deploying with NAVSPECWARFARE Group. Think of it as extreme camping.

Anyway, just thought I’d say hi – like the blog.

That is the best Christmas letter I’ve read all month. It sounds REAL.
