Interesting ideas... I wonder how the Hollywood media would portray this?

Your problem is that you didn't go to the doctor when you crashed, and then go to PT, and of course you didn't do the exercises that you said you would.

That's why you haven't healed.

I am guessing that it is a Colles Fracture. That is what happened to me on one of my many falls.

Dunno what's causing the prob, but if it hurts when you're typing you might want to think about buying a Maltron keyboard. I've been using one for 12 or 13 years now and it makes the difference between being able to do my job (code monkey) and not.

To whoever said tenosynovitis, I think you are WAY off. I had that in my wrist, and there was no bulging, and it was only on one side, and it's a repetitive motion injury (at least in my case) called Dequervain's Tenosynovitis (or Tenovaginitis if you want to be a bit more nasty.)

I, for the record, am proudly indicating that I have not a clue as to what's wrong with fatty, though I applaud his focus and determination in not getting it figured out for months. Men everywhere are building small statues to mount in town squares, friend. :)

Meanwhile, hope this gets better quickly. Being in pain has a chilling effect on one's whole state of mind.

TFCC first choice, scapholunate second choice.
Shouldn't be scaphoid (i.e. navicular) fx, or pain wouldn't be on the palmar (volar) side of the wrist. Wouldn't expect carpal tunnel as a result of a fall (any time people hear wrist pain they lump it into carpal tunnel, the MRI wouldn't give a great indication of CTS anyway, you would need an EMG/NCV study - much less fun).
