Fatty, Susan, and the kids.

I became a cyclist two years ago because I lost five family members in six years to this disease and Iâ€™ll be dammed if it is going to get the upper hand without a fight from me. Susan you have already won, and will continue to win by all those you and your family have inspired. I have the first jersey and wear it as often as I can. At 6â€™6â€ and 250 lbs, Iâ€™m a rolling billboard. I wear my pink jersey with pride and tell everyone I can about you guys. My birthday is May 19, I turn 40 this year, and I have just told my wife I want this jersey and nothing else, this is the perfect gift. Put me down for a XXL in pink. Iâ€™m riding in the 24 Hours of Booty in Charlotte, NC in July and the Tour de Pink in Houston, Texas in September. I look forward to wearing this jersey during both events. Keep up the fight Susan.

In an earlier comment when the Rawrod was coming up and Fatty was less-than-prepared, I said some things about Kenny being a pretty boy who bakes his own bread.
For this fantastic suggestion I am happy to say kudos to you Kenny, well done! The Nelsons are lucky to have friends of your calibre.
All churlish references to bread-baking are hereby withdrawn. You remain, nonetheless, a good looking man!

Thank you Kenny. As someone said earlier, that was the easiest donation that I’ve ever made.

Elden, I don’t believe we have ever met, though we may have shared a ride at some point, from Racers possibly. I would like to thank you for publidhing your thoughts and sharing yours and you lovely wife’s lives with everyone. I lost my wife to cancer at age 42 and had to go through emotions/anger/challenges that you are handling so well. You are doing everything right my friend. You are sharing your life with the woman you love and supporting your family.

You know, I’ve never owned a pink jersey before, I am sure that the time is right for my first one. I will wear it proudly.

I’m so excited to hear the jerseys will soon go on sale. I missed out on them last year and am determined that history not repeat itself. I am putting up post it notes all over the place to keep the time and date in the front of my mind to assure it doesn’t.
