That is awesome. I was a fan of Matt's blog (and its fantastic name) already and I guess if I couldnt win the bike its good someone awesome did.
Just in case anyone at Ibis reads this, or in case you want proof that the bike raffling makes good marketing sense, I am actually shopping for a new road bike, and hadnt considered Ibis until the raffle. Now Ibis is on the shortlist...

Congrats to all!

Fatty Nation - 37.5?!?!? Whoohoo!

Matt - hope you enjoy my husband's bike

Fatty - you are rich, my friend, "It's A Wonderful Life"-type rich..the kind that never goes away.

Botched Daughter - excellent evasion tactics!

Susan - so, who won the debate on Aragorn vs. Legolas ans Serenity vs. Firefly? Personally, I'd have voted for Faramir and Firefly. Rationale provided upon request.

Hope the news is good today...you're all in our prayers!

Enjoy the bike Matt. Great another blog to keep up with...when will I get to work on time again?

Fantastic job everyone on raising all the money for LAF. We should continue to get cool bikes and do a montly raffle if it's netting out dollars like that, and no, I don't give a rip if I win or not.

Botched, you don't know me, but dude...that last picture...do I want to know you? ROFL!!!

Matt - I just don't understand how you won my bike! I am sure I had the winning tickets - aleast that's what Fatty was telling me when I bought the tickets. Oh no that was just the fanatsy world that this genuinely fat cyclist - 5'9 and 218lbs and falling (my wife however reckons that I am getting shorter faster than I am getting lighter)was occupying until you stole the bike - sorry I mean won fair and square. Good luck and enjoy it - judging from your pics you will put it to far better use than this overwieght middle aged fool.

Fatty, those pics of Botched Experiment are fantastic. They made me laugh out loud .I would dearly love to have 'Sliding Rock' in my back garden, then I too could inflict this sort of behaviour on my six year old duaghter who after this mornings pre-school performance most definitely deserved a soaking in a cold mountain plunge pool.

All the best to you Susan and the family
