Re: snoring and middle-age. I have noticed that over the course of the past decade, when my friends and I do Gooseberry trips, we sleep farther and farther apart. We used to pack in tight in a couple of tents right close together. Now we all wander off in different directions into the pinon/juniper, spread out over a couple of acres, mainly because we don’t want to hear each snore, fart and/or get up in the night to pee…

As a Northeasterner waiting patiently for snow to fall to get the board out- (still picking up some miles in between rain and slush though) Sounds like a great trip- hope all have fun..
