Something like this dance video could be a fun next step after a jump photo but using yellow wristbands as props....and a fitting song from someone's playlist.

Simple:

Bring them each a FatCyslist jersey. IF we (meaning you, with minimal help from me) can raise $1,000,000 ($5m?) before the TDF, and IF the team wins the TDF, then they promise to wear the Team Fatty jerseys on their post-race victory lap of the Champs Elysees. And include you. And include me, since it was my idea. Of course, sponsorship being what drives the bus, a hybrid 'Team Fatty-Shack' jersey might have to be created for the occasion...but that's easy!

Have a great time this weekend--don't even look at Horner (that's enough to make him crash!)

Best,
John

FATTY,

It'd be great if you would take a bunch of the raw footage and a ton of photos and put them all on a file hosting website..... Now why should you so this? I think since it was us, the readers, who powered the fundraising with your leadership, we should get to make our own videos about the experience. Funny ones, poignant ones, stupid ones, etc. View them, post your favorites. Let our creative juices flow.

Have fun!

Whew...thanks for the reminder, I managed to get mine in at 11:58.

Have fun this weekend, and do try to hold your line (at least until they drop you).

I'll tell you what we want from you Fatty!
We want you to have no worries and enjoy the heck out of this amazing adventure! You were the catalyst that made it happen and may the lord bless you.

Gil's idea was spot on. Could not think think of a better way to alert those fellas as to why you do what you do.

Now, get out there and sieze the moment!

Allez Fatty!

As mentioned above: Please ask Lance if he knows that his name is used as an insult to many cyclists: "Hey Lance, go on the sidewealk." It really means you're an icon when your name is so well known that i can be used negativelly in a sarcastic manner.

As far as a gift, what can you get a bunch of well-paid guys that get tons of stuff for free? It would merely be a token...so i think Fat Cyclist socks would be nice. They wont be able to wear them for most of the year (sponsors frown up on that sort of thing) but they'll think they're funny. most of them may not know your whole story...and there's no way to convey it to them quickly...but if nothing else, socks that say "fat cyclist" are funny. especially on really fit professional cyclists, so i'm sure they'll wear them when they're home on training rides.

What to give them?:
Give them all a Fatty Kit.
What to bring back?:
Bring back all of their new RadShack kits and burn them.

In fact, tell them you'll let them put the RadioShack and other logos on your kits and their designers can take the rest of the year off.

Have fun. You're gonna be with the best guys in bike racing--you earned it.
