I've ridden in Utah back in '93 - gotta head down there again.

Fatty,

It's always a pleasure to read your stories, and I can't help being jealous. I live in South Florida, and we only have 2 decent mountain bike parks, Oleta River State Park and Marhkam park, so reading about your Kokopelli adventure and looking at the pictures is pretty special.- I'm moving to Utah!
But then I wouldn't be able to have a cold one on South Beach after my sunday morning ride so... I guess I'll keep reading your blog, and dream of miles of singletrack.

Thanks for the stories!

I'll echo Kovas on the book. Maybe a book with pop-ups of the areas you ride through...rimrock scenes, arches etc.
The book would be epic.
But I'm not sure anyone has made a coffee table sturdy enough to hold your tales.
Time to skip out of work like yesterday, it's not raining, not 55 degree of lack of heat, the sun of shining, time to ride.

Great post Fatty! I've wanted to git my tires dirty on the Kokopelli trail for a long time.

Favorite line from the post: "The coolness wasn’t just wonderful. It was exquisite. Indeed, I assert that this may have been the most intelligent thing I have ever done in my life."

Looking forward to the next installment!

Five hours? You could have easily gone back and picked up the adjustable wrench off of the ground once Dug had a mechanical. Any good riding partner would have,...
