Nice emotional rollercoaster you got going there...
Let me give you a hint... after overcoming that last one ("I am afraid"), you will rediscover the early one
("makes me feel woozy").
Looking forward to Part 2!

Yo Fatty!

Happy New Year and all that jazz.

I can sympathise with your trepidation. I have been in the position of opening both a new bike box and a body (very dead and smelly though not dismembered) containing car boot (trunk to you). Give me the car boot any day.

I would love to get a unicycle. I would also love to get many other N+1's though (penny farthing, offroad recumbent trike etc.)

Have loads of fun learning to ride that sucker.

Luv 'n Stuff

Hummm...a few nice days out of reach of cell phones & computers. just catching up on my favorite blogsite(well in the top 3 anyway).
Above is an entry by a Uni-Tom, basic advice for your next venture in the world of ss wheeled vehicles.
I wonder if uni-Tom is Tom B. of Issaquah, WA who did the 2010 100 MoN, I went back and he set set the standard for you. You need to beat 100 miles in 11 hours.

Good luck. For some inspiration check out unigeezer's videos on youtube:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LWY1TczsXUo

Talented guy! He did a 100 mile ride last year, so there is a possibility of a 100 Mile Ride to Nowhere!!

I rode a unicycle all through high school and loved it. A few years ago a friend's kid had one so I thought I would jump on for a ride for old times sake. I nearly broke my neck.

Does it help if I tell you my daughter (10) learned to ride a unicycle in 4th grade and it didn't take her long? As another poster said, one month of 20 min/day practice should get you there. P.S. - she also learned juggling and by the end of the school year there were a few kids who could juggle AND ride the unicycle at the same time.
