I've been debating on whether or not to get rollers. I must admit that this post is pushing me in the direction of "yes." I only worry about getting bored just being at home. I often organize "real world" rides with friends using this activity planner that's on the web. We can all interact on it and plan together, getting really into the details. We can even add maps and routes and when we're out on the road we can still access it (I always keep my phone in my seat bag - it's only a few ounces, righ? ;)

I've got 3 or 4 friends coming over on June 11, work is not allowing the June 4th date to work out. We'll be riding 53 laps around my 1.9 mile block, and climbing a total of 9941'. This should be fun!

If anyone fron Newcastle, Australia (or nearby) is interested, the recently completed Fernleigh Loop rail trail just happens to be 16km, I mean 10 miles long, so I will be doing 10 laps...

If anyone is going to be in Austin TX on the 26th, Noodle (Janeen McCrae) is going be giving a presentation at Mellow Johnny's about her trans-America trip aboard Precious, raising money through Team Fatty for the Austin Livestrong ride (yesiamprecious.com). Details at http://tinyurl.com/6x8rctg
