Congrats to the Runner for the BQ! My wife is qualified as well. Will there be a Team Fatty meet up that weekend? Also, congrats on your sub 4! I am still stuck at 4:12 as a PR myself. One day I'll have that magic 3 at the start of my finish time too!

Damn, I'm impressed! Congratulations to the Runner for qualifying for Boston! And to Fatty for an excellent race as well. What do you mean by, "Gravity is your friend?". I tend to take things too literally and the obvious eludes me..

Congratulations, Lisa! Awesome achievement!

Fatty, when I ran my first marathon (in 3:49, thank you very much) I trained my a$$ off for it - in those days (1981) you trained 60-70 miles a week, none of this 3-5 miles 3 days a week and a long run on the weekend like these kids today do. I have never been so proud of myself. I was 27. The next year I was overwhelmed at work and wasn't able to train for a marathon, but I went out and ran the first half with a friend. He kept telling me I was doing great and I should keep going and I could finish, but I did not want to do that, because I REALLY DIDN'T WANT TO KNOW if it turned out that I could run a marathon without seriously training for it.

So now you, at 20ish years older than I was then, have ruined my life.

Or not - we already know you are superhuman, so I will herewith discount your experience.

Oh, and congratulations on breaking 4.
