Fatty,
My heart bubbled over with joy when I read about how you bombed down that hill, in the dark, at 50 mph, laughing all the way. It's moments like those that keep me craving my next bike ride. Sometimes a ride is more than just a fun time, a great workout, a stress reliever, a chance to get away, a time with friends. Sometimes, instead, it is pure euphoria. When the planets, stars, moon, and sun all align to create a magical moment where you have the perfect bike ride.... It's times like that that we bikers ride for. Reading about your perfect ride makes me remember mine! My heart swells with happiness that I found such an awesome, fulfilling sport.

OH, and I laughed out loud when I read how the leaves burned when you turned your lights onto the brightest setting. lol

I see plenty of deer in Central Ohio and have thankfully avoided all of them. My weirdest on-road animal encounter was with a mini-herd of llamas that had somehow broken out of their enclosure and were milling around the road. They are a little scary up close, and surprisingly tall.

Kenny, you don't 'look' that retro, well maybe... sleeveless jersey and Daisy Duke cutoffs.
Cattle guards on paved roads on open range areas can sneek up on you FAST ! My son clears them with single jump (road bike) at speed. I'm chicken and try to brake below 30mph. Chickens, free range too, hit & killed one.
These ride reports are awesome, hope other team members fill in the blanks.
My thoughts and best wishes are with you Sir Callahan.

Sending good thoughts to Callahan!! I'm impressed at the smile with that collar on but I'd imagine he's on some pretty hefty painkillers. Or maybe that's just the effect the Runner/Hammer is having on him.

I'm loving the story, can't wait to read more! And I'm so glad we got two episodes today, since I read the first one before I even got to the office.
