I loved these stories and their very funny illustrations. Thanks to your twins for them.

But, do they draw from life? Compare the post from 11.15.2011 “Fall Moab 2012 Part II: Power Faces” – Power Face 3 stuck in my mind.
Now compare it to the image above of the sad Santa T-Rex whose sleigh won’t fly.
You see? Perfect match (especially the facial expression).

I’ve downloaded the images to compare, but it is quite beyond me to upload them back to this comments page.

I know, I ought to be wrapping some presents instead …

Great book, Carrie! You might consider making it an online tale at littlebirdtales.com. It’s a free site perfect for things like this and you can include your voice so that when you share it with your family and friends, they can hear your voice reading it to them. My class loves this site and I think they’ll love your story, too. Excellent work!
