Note for Team Fatty – Fighting for Susan wannabes:

If you, like me, registered for Livestrong Challenge – Davis in December, and then wanted to join Team Fatty when Fatty announced it recently, but could not figure out how to do so unless you re-registered, here is the scoop:

You can’t. And by that i mean the software has no provision for joining a team after having registered.

But, you can. And by that I mean email dylan.trakas@livestrong.org and tell him your plight. Dylan, like every Lifestrong staffer I have ever met, is a very helpful and courteous person and he will get you fixed up by manually entering you on the Team Fatty list, just like he did for me. He invited me to let you know that all it takes is an email to him.

So, do it!

For what it’s worth, you left out the Road part of MoRaTrag. These jackals have been and certainly will continue to be on the climbs in and around the Salt Lake Valley, such as City Creek and Emigration canyons, Rose Canyon Road, and even the hills up to and around the Kennecott Copper Mine. Yes sir, these b*stards don’t hold back when it comes to tormenting those of us on high pressure skinny tires any more than they do you fat tire singletrackers.

(disclaimer: I have nothing against fat tire singletrackers. The only reason I’m not one is that I no longer — for the time being — have a bicycle equipped for such riding. That will change. After I get a TT bike and a cyclocross bike, I’m sure.)

The MoRaTraG doesn’t use jacks it’s much more insidious than that. They actually have sub-space field generators that allow them to manipulate gravity.

Think about it, it explains everything. Why does your weight go up in the winter? Certainly NOT because you’ve been stuffing your face for three straight months while getting half the exercise you did in the summer. It must be because MoRaTraG has changed the force of gravity in your area.

Gravity manipulation explains why the same hills harder, and it surely explains what my scale is reading right now.
