Thanks, everybody. It was truly a bittersweet ride. My wife read the report here before I did. (Obviously I’m a little behind the times. It’s due to a really busy week getting my students ready for finals next week.) She asked me if my time was really that good because of your comments. I don’t know, given the light resistance of the rollers, but apparently it is. Thanks for the kind words.

I’m one of those nuts who stays up late to get registered for this every year and I love this event, more for the stories than the actual riding. Great work to all who conquered something for themselves on their rides.

@Clydesteve, we are driving to Davis. The whole family is making the trip. We are going down a couple days early and heading home a couple days late to catch up with the friends in the area we haven’t seen in years. Are you going?
