I concur with Davidh,marin. It was supposed to be pouring rain the day we were to do 100MoN last year, lot of people were thinking of bailing. I expressed the same thoughts to them, and they all showed up on that very rainy saturday for our first annual 100MoN. The best part was that we had a whole lot of fun despite the pouring rain.

Best words ever to sum up Team Fatty!!!!

…I thought about all the riders and other people I’ve known who have passed on. I thought about how any one of them probably would have done anything for just one more chance to ride, or to be with their loved ones, or to be in good health and capable of doing whatever it was that they most loved to do.

What a wonderful reward for you perseverance, and what a lesson for us all! I am inspired.

Imagine how you would have felt (and continued to feel) had you opted for the left turn and headed home. The uplifting experiences you related so well are a really good example for us all – all driven by your choice not to quit just because things were tough. What a difference a little determination can make.
