Fatty: Check out "Clear Lungs" by Ridgecrest Herbals in Utah.

It is designed to help heal the lining of the lungs that is injured with severe effort or infection. I guarantee you'll love it.

I love tired Fatty. You are too cute with your comments. It has made you more relaxed because you have no choice and also, has upped your sense of humor. I wish they'd interview The Hammer...maybe she doesn't want to be interviewed. I miss hearing about her.

I think the pros can do it because that's their job, that's what they train for which is all the more amazing that you and the Hammer are able to do these two races back-to-back. Not sure about the MTB pros, but the roadie pros have mechanics, chefs, someone to drive them around, someone to get whatever they need, they get massages, etc. So you two are both rockstars in my book!

One of the amazing MTB ladies I follow - Sonya Looney - raced Leadville with a broken wrist! Then she was considering racing the Breck Epic, but common sense won out. She finished Leadville in 8:16 and did I mention, WITH A BROKEN WRIST!! Wow. Amazing. But that is what she gets paid to do - race and perform.

So I'm really, really impressed with your and The Hammer's supreme athleticism. Just wow. You two are incredible - both have jobs and kids and you can still have this level of fitness. Hats off!

When are you going to quit the day jobs and hit the pro MTB tour? :)

I had to take 5 days off after finishing the Leadville 100 to recover. My hat is off to you and the Hammer, Keep up the good work.

I've done a bunch of 4-6 day stage races now - I'm solidly mid-to-back of the pack tho - and you are so right about the sleeping and eating.

What you don't quite realise is that it is so much easier for the fast guys - sure, they are hurting a lot on the bike, but they also get a lot more recovery time. The last 4 day race I did, the winner spent literally half the time on the bike that I did. It all adds up.

Fatty, you look very tired. How's the Hammer holding up? Hang in there.

More Hammer, please.
