1st off, this post seems to have significantly less controversy than the P2P post… Anyone who knows me, knows I am disappointed….

Secondly – Another support to the SS as a choice, not a category manifesto is the fact that Corey took 4th overall in the race, and due to http://www.racuscs.com’s pro payout, woulda won 5 times as much as that, if he woulda raced pro.

And C. the series is ran by Ty Hansen, Drew Free and Shannon Boffeli, and I however, when things go poorly, it is ‘Bob’s Series’

Okay, I am obviously not a mtber – I rode one once, crashed, broke my finger and sprained my ankle, ’nuff said.

But I need to ask – you were standing up climbing? Like out of the saddle?

I had always heard that when you climb on a mtb you stay seated. Am I wrong?

Enlighten me, please.

I laughed out loud at the winner’s giant $60 check. How come The Hammer isn’t holding one up? For 25 miles, did she win a smaller $30 check?

Wow, that is some twig, Fatty! Congrats to you and the Hammer on phenomenal racing!

It must be nice to have access to such fantastic medical care.

Sorry but I think you missed out here, Fatty. Personally, I like having to deal with ER visits, and insurance, and co-pays, and waiting around, and billing, and being charge $60 for a Tylenol. It’s all about the experience.

That whole last paragraph was sarcasm…

Though, the insurance side of it has nothing to do with the amazing doctors and nurses out there who make a very difficult visit easier with empathy, experience, and expert care.

And that whole last paragraph was entirely truthful…

You need to take that souvineer and scotch-tape it to a picture of the carnage in an album (GASP! Photo ALBUM? WHAT is THAT?) Somewhere my brother has a splinter of mine he removed taped to a picture…it wasn’t quite the piece of lumber you had, but it was just about as long (and sticking straight IN…all that was visible was a black spot and it was hell getting it out).

Ahhh..battle-scars…chicks dig them! (or so I’m told…it’s cool if you can find a chick w/ her own battle-scars, as you seem to have done). GREAT report, GREAT RACE for both of you! Makes me want to get out the MTB and hit it (it’s been a few weeks now…I can hear her crying in my garage every day).
