I volunteered at the first NICA race in Washington state a few years back. I'm now involved with an offshoot of the NICA program here in Washington, now run under the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance - Washington Student League. I coached/ran (with plenty of help) a junior high team of 14 kids last season. Super cool experience. Anything that get kids out there riding and/or racing is worth the time... Great program. I volunteered at the first NICA race in Washington state a few years back.
