After your last fundraiser I decided to start saving a little bit each month so I’d be able to donate 5 bikes next time. Had planned on the next one being a year from the last, so since this one came a bit sooner than expected, I have only saved up for 2. A shame I couldn’t rock the power of 5 fundraiser with donating 5 bikes, but still… 2 bikes donated.

It’s not pies and brats but the Tour de BBQ in Kansas City is pretty centrally located and each rest stop hands out BBQ! Sounds perfect for Team Fatty!! :)

@wife#.664 (or is it .663 by now?) Sweet bike! I won’t be needing this one, as I’ve got a new road bike on order for this spring. You may have it. The Ibis though? Bring it sister! You should know that I hold a 3rd degree black belt in tae-kwon-do. Mess with me at your own peril.

@AKChick, @davidh-marin,ca @mattc, and @ABunchOfOtherFOFs I LOVE where things are going with planning a replacement event (and charity?) for Livestrong Davis. Hanging on the sidelines for now, I hope y’all land on something exciting and inclusive of the wide following FC has. I’ll be there, if I can swing it, because meeting FC, MON, maybe “Nails” herself, the IT guy, and many FOFs is a bucket list item for me. Is it a little sick that, while my DH is too sick to pursue his own bucket list, I’m thinking about my own list?

Sorry Steve, Anonymous was I. The computer ‘unplugged’ and I did not realize I lost my name.

Jeffrey and I have attempted with the tandem the past two years only finishing two passes. This year we’ll ride singles and I will attempt to guide my limited sight partner over and over and over again. (Oh lucky me!)
