The Roubaix is one wonderful bike! I have one...it's red so it's fast!

I note that it is a Roubaix and not a Ruby...was there a preference for the 'male' style over the 'female' frame? I chose mine because I felt at home on the Roubaix & not the Ruby.

That is a beautiful bike and I know The Hammer will get a lot of use out of it. World Bicycle Relief is lucky to have her representing them.

My weekend capped off my second 200+ mile ridding week in a row. I got to ride some new to me fairly technical mtb trails in CT. Started to do a total renovation on the family lake cottage my wife and took over in the fall. AND I got to renew my wedding vows (with said wife) after celebrating our 20th anniversary.

Yeah, it was definitely a good weekend.

This weekend I took a couple of 7th graders to a model rocket launch and then spent a bunch of time working on the gutters at home. Didn't get to ride my bike at all. :-( I got in a ride this morning, though. :-)

Did a 133 mile, 15k ft of climbing ride called 'Bad Little Brother' on Saturday. Fabulous weather and some of the best scenery in Northern California, and I made it to the finish.
This is prep for an even bigger ride next month called the Terrible Two, two hundred miles and even more climbing in the heat.
After that I pigged out on BBQ and beer for the rest of the weekend :-)
Can't wait to hear your marathon missive.
