This way my ID is ALWAYS with me...I figure if I'm ever in a serious accident that is so bad that my shoe is missing, it prob won't matter that-much anyway except for ID'ing the body. I have one bonded to each set of shoes. And you can still replace the little steel tags if you change your info.
