I agree with Brett, and am relieved to hear the blog is here to stay.
But, I also like podcasts, and am going to give yours a go. It better be good; downloading all the episodes to my phone is taking up a significant amount of wifi bandwidth from the office next door.

I'll pipe in just so Brett doesn't feel alone. I'm excited that you've found a new passion and hope it goes well, but I'm also a bit sad that it will take time away from the blog. They meet different needs for me as a consumer. The blog is a quick, in and out kind of thing that is a fun break. The podcast is a commitment of time that is hard for me to get to. So less blog is sad for me, but go with what you love and I'll adjust. After years of blog reading yours is the last one I still go back to. It's a dying art but yours is still a great one. But life goes on...
Thanks

Thanks for writing. I take it as a huge compliment that you care enough to say what you like, and what you don't.

There'll be less blog during the Winter, but that's cuz of Winter, not cuz of podcasting. The podcast doesn't take up time I'd otherwise be using for writing; it's a different kind of effort altogether for me. I promise, the podcast is going to be strictly additive. Promise. - FC

Podcaster Fatty is like the cycling love-child of Teri Gross and Mark Marin. These are fantastic!

I am sure your current podcast focus is
a new and exciting challenge for you but just doesn't click with me. I loved your regular blog reports, especially the race reports. I have tried to listen to a couple podcasts and didn't finish. Seems like your current blog posts are just ads for your podcasts. I don't want to be a complainer and I am probably solo on this but I like the old Fatty blog better.

I appreciate your feedback and know that podcasts aren't for everyone. My blog isn't going away, though it always slows down during the winter...just like I do. Hopefully you'll find that in addition to promoting the podcast, I'm still posting non-podcasty stuff too (though not much during the holidays). - FC
