Mostly because it brings up the fact that big is such a subjective term if you are 5'4" big may be anyone over 5'10" and that same 5'10" guy is considered small by a 6'6" guy. My rule of thumb is if everyone on a group ride mentions they love riding behind you (and you didn't just buy a new body wash) you must be a large rider. But isn't it wasting a LOT of confidence? By my math, that's 900% worth of confidence that could be applied to other things such as descending, buying a CX bike, or extracting great prizes from worthy contributors.
