Hey Fatty, thanks for the update on how Madeline Bemis did at 24 hour worlds during the Paceline podcast. I had just been wondering how she did. For anyone who is not listening to the Paceline, you should give it a try. It is excellent and entertaining, and it makes my boring commute tolerable once a week.

It’s brutally honest, showcases cycling technical skills, and it speaks to the roots of why FatCyclist got started and why most of us still care enough to donate and do crazy things like 100MON.

2nd interview I’ve heard with her. I think the other was on Elevation Trail. Women’s cycling has been on a roller coaster as long as I’ve been following cycling (since early 90s). I’m not sure any more so than other disciplines. I am always put off when organizers hold a token women’s crit or TT along with the pro stage races. That seems like an insult to the racers and to the fans. Far better to go all in with a full stage race. They are no less exciting than the men and often more so. The new women’s world cup is awesome!

Also, I’m REALLY loving the paceline. It has quickly become my favorite thing to listen to. As a music lover, that’s really saying something. So Kudos to you, Michael, and Padraig!
