Yeah, man, gainful employment can really mess with the muse. I haven’t been here for awhile (or anywhere, really…I hardly consider myself a cyclist, these days) (which makes me feel weird just typing those words) and there seems to be a change of tone at Fatty’s.

But there is nothing wrong with making a buck. Wouldn’t it be great to make a living off the Blog, though? I would if I could figure out how.

Whatever the case, you are a hero, Elden. Good job, lad.

Glad you secured relevant employment. Sad I was not going to get a new pair of bibs. Took matters into my own hands and DNA just got an order. I was a shorts guy before reading Fatty’s praise of bibs. My only bibs are from Fatty kits. It will be odd to have non-Fatty bibs.

Congratulations on the new job! I know that is a huge relief and I hope it turns out to be rewarding in many ways without compromising all important family and riding time.

I would be happy to support the cause by putting something in an electronic tip jar every so often. No strings attached! I very much look forward to reading the book eventually, and the hoodie would have been useful as we keep our house cool in the winter. Lovely though it was, I didn’t order a kit because I can’t stuff any more of those into my closets or drawers. Having just spent a week of vacation cleaning out the house, I have to exercise some discipline in that regard. Maybe some other folks are like me; it is just easier to make a donation than buy any more stuff.

If you find time after work, family and riding to keep blogging, like everyone else, I will patiently await your future posts.

I am glad to hear you have found a way to keep the wolf from the door. I hope you can find time to ride, and if you can to post ride reports, or even fatty news casts from your travels. I love my new Fatty kit and wear it proudly.
