Relating to Shugg’s suggestion…my dreamy bike isn’t just standing there. We’re riding on perfectly paved roads w/wide, sweeping vistas. Bikes have the right of way and cell phones don’t work in cars/trucks. It’s never cold. It never snows or rains. There are bike shops, coffee shops and microbreweries every 20 miles or so. And I don’t have to work any more so there’s lots of time to ride…..pop!

I should be getting mine in… oh… 18 months or so. 40h bday present. planning in advance. Custom built Hans Schneider lugged steel (probably Columbus tubing) for my weird 6ft 1in frame with 29 inch legs. Glossy racing orange with flat black old school rings and accents. Can’t afford my dream components right away, but the frames the main thing. So it’ll start with 105s and some midrange mavic or Reynolds wheels, but someday, mechanical dura ace and some Church aero carbon clinchers.
