I am trying to spot the irony in Greg's post. Mate, aside from being a region of Scotland, the word "Clydesdale" can also refer to:

1. a breed of working horse typified by huge mass and strength.
2. a fat cyclist typified by huge mass and (we'd liek to think) strength.

So yes, this is a joke. A rather fine one IMHO. The passing resemblence to Ferrari's prancing horse is the icing on the cake. If you ever see a Clydesdale (of either type) the mental image of he/she/it prancing will be one to treasure.

Q. So are you going to re-do your site with the new logo and colors?
A. Yep.

No way. Either this is a joke or you don't realize a horse has absolutely nothing to do with cycling or fat cyclists. You've smashed your head too many times man.

How about signed and numbered shirts for the first day orderers, a bit like a limited edition print or a first day cover stamp release. I know it is a bit of extra work for you Fatty, but you know we are worth it :)

Lissee, these links definitely work:

The article that got up the good doctor's nose:
http://www.fatcyclist.com/2006/09/29/an-open-letter-to-assos/

Doctor L's profound musings on said article:
http://www.fatcyclist.com/2006/01/16/the-wit-and-wisdom-of-dr-michael-lmmler/

BTW, the spelling mistake in the second link is how it is. Spalm on, baby!

Thanks, Fatty. I just wanted to know what number I was going to have to scrawl in indelible ink somewhere on the jersey for historical purposes.

Man, my internet was down for a while and I missed the beginning! Very excited to see the jersey come to life though. I will be checking the mailbox 3x a day once May comes. I like the colors and logo (reminds me of Ferrari), hopefully the size L will do the trick. I'm on the fringe, some days I'll qualify for the '201' clydesdale rule, others I don't make the cut and will just be wearing a jersey with a horse on it.

The "spalm with care" part is the best part of the shirt. It seems a shame to hide it under a pocket. Was there a copyright issue involved?
