Greetings from Hanging Lake!

The Hammer and I are on our way to Leadville right now. On our way we stopped and went on a hike to a beautiful spot called Hanging Lake.

I would much rather be doing this than going into surgery to get my collarbone repaired today, which is what the IT Guy is doing.

Hanging Lake, now we’re in suspense. What’s the story line ?
Reminds me of Brown Paper Bill (cowboy that made his clothes from paper bags) and his hanging for russlin’. Had there been a lake his clothes wouldn’t have set everyone on edge.
only 3 slices of cantalouope, the suspense is getting deeper.

    Dang…Leadville…there they just shoot em.

For thoose who have not been to the Great State of Colorado. There is a hanging lake just off of I70 near Glenwood Springs. Fantastic place to visit. Its a 1.2 mile hike in from the trailhead.

Poor IT Guy! Surgery today and Mom says, “..you’re on your own.” She definitely raises tough kids!

Did Mom have you sleep in your old room? Is the Farrah Fawcett poster still there, on the back of the door, above or below your Bon Jovi poster?

Good Luck in Leadville. Is the Hammer representing the SS Contingent, and will she wait for you to ride in together?

Good luck at Leadville, and best wishes to the IT Guy for successful surgery and speedy recovery.

Colorado is a beautiful state – a great place to spend time, and a super place to live – so many great things to see and wonderful opportunities to get out and do.

I have seen that exit a hundred times and always wanted to stop. Long hike? Can little kids make it?

The 1.2 mile hike is straight up! Once you get there, it’s awesome!
Yes your kids can do it if over about 5 yrs old.
