The Great Fatsby: Pre-Order Starts Tomorrow

11.10.2014 | 12:51 pm

I’m super-duper excited to announce that I am hard at work on my new book: The Great Fatsby.

NewImage

I’ll be opening it up for pre-order tomorrow, and will have it in your hands by Christmastime.

This is, frankly, some of the funniest stuff I ever wrote. You know, from back when I was hungry and funny and hadn’t yet sold out. Or whatever.

You know me well enough by now to know that I can’t help myself: this book will benefit a good cause, and there will be an incredible grand prize I will be giving away to some lucky person.

I’m also excited to say that along with this book, there’ll be a t-shirt you can buy:

Almost most of all, though, I’m almost insane with delight at this long-sleeved tech-merino wool jersey I’ll be making available, at an absurdly great price when you buy it with The Great FatsbyNewImage

You will never ever want to wear anything else, ever again. Well, at least not until next summer.

Details tomorrow!

‘Back when you were hungry’ – great line.

    That jersey is ….

    I don’t even know.

    It’s beautiful.

Hmm, any coincidence that Bike Snob JUST announced a jersey of his own … in Fatty(tm) black and orange!?!?!?

I shredded my beloved wool Fat Cyclist jersey in a spill five weeks ago. Wrote Twin Six hoping to find a left over. They mentioned something might be in the works, but didn’t say a word about a new Fat Cyclist wool jersey.

    This is great!

I read this over and over again trying to figure out why you were writing a book called “The Great Fartsby.” Reading for comprehension is not my gig.

Wow, that’s a nice looking jersey!

Is the jersey a race or club cut?

Looking forward to reading the book. But I have to ask, Fatty, did you orchestrate the polar vortex this week just to sell more of these new long-sleeved jerseys?

Can’t wait to read the book and get a wool jersey. Living in Alaska, we can wear it most of the summer. This winter has been too darn warm, so far and all of our snow is melting as we speak. Send the cold and snow back up here so I can keep skiing.

I’ve been looking for years for a jersey like that very one. I may have to ask for a Christmas present.

Still short sleeves and a windvest here in NorCal, even for the nighttime commute. Hope Wife#1 sees this. Any chance we’ll see some new FC socks? The puppy (now 2) has lessened my current inventory.

What @Isaac said – the jersey is beautiful indeed. Now on my Christmas wish list.

Ride home tonight colder than boasted of earlier. Any chance these will be available earlier?

I would also encourage ‘git givers’ to consider giving two. One for regular cold weather riding and another for more formal dress occasions.

But seriously. A reserve jersey for when the first one has seen it’s day, or the new puppy decides to chew.
