You might want to turn off the HDR setting on the iPhone to avoid all of the double images.
    Looks awesome!

Please…bottle up some of that glorious sunshine and send it to south-east Queensland

There where Danishes!! Oh well next year. Nice to see you two out there today. Wasn’t that Coleman Valley climb fun after those Danishes?

We pulled out all the stops to make sure the weather was proper for a star of your renown, none of that TOC rain you see on tv. Thank you for the picture, my wife loves it. I hope all your ‘Fatty” friends get to see you out here next year. Then again,it could rain.

I’m so glad you were able to be here and enjoy our beautiful weather.

Nice! I’ve read nothing but fantastic comments about that ride. Maybe someday I’ll get down there for it.

Wasn’t it fantastic?? I never got a danish either…nor did I ever catch up with the likes of you “VIPs” The huddled masses had a slow first 10 miles. After that, it was an awesome ride!

Happy to have Fatty & the Runner here in Western Sonoma.
Yes, we are spoiled. What a great day for a ride! Hope you got some paella….

I should probably mention that the cheese Danish was our own. We had carried all this food for 75 miles but hadn’t touched any of it. We’d have felt bad if we didn’t eat SOMETHING we carried the whole trip.

In checking out the web site did anyone else notice that Fatty was listed in the VIP and Luminaries list. Way to go.

I’ll confess that might have been my favourite rest stop of the day, although admittedly Tin Barn at the top of King’s Ridge was perfectly placed for a snack-snarfing session.

It was very nice to meet you at this rest stop mate (with my buddy Brentley, by the danishes). Glad you enjoyed the ride, as did I until the climb up out of this stop you picture. Boy that was something.

Okay – threw together a short video with some photos and video clips from yesterday’s ride until Fatty can do something better for us. Guest shot of him with my taller half near the end!

Better watch it before hubby realizes I did this and demands I take it down until he can photoshop his hair. LOL. He’s ready to start organzing for Team Fatty for next year’s GranFondo. His first words home last night were: Best Ride Ever!

Looks like an excellent adventure. I am waiting for global warming to push that weather up to Oregon in October.
