I’m Interviewing Bike Snob NYC Today at 3:30pm ET / 12:30pm PT

Bike snob abroad normA Note from Fatty: A couple of days ago, I announced I’ll be interviewing Bike Snob NYC on Spreecast today. Foolishly, I set the time wrong. It’s going to be today, but at 3:30pm ET / 12:30pm PT. I apologize for being confusing.

Today at 3:30pm ET / 2:30 CT / 1:30 MT / 12:30PT (I don’t like to exclude any of the time zones), I’ll be conducting an interview / live Q&A with Eben Weiss, known to the bike world as Bike Snob NYC

You can watch it here, or — for a more full-featured, interactive experience where you can ask questions and stuff — you should probably head on over to my Spreecast page to watch.

We’ll be talking about his new book (Bike Snob Abroad: Strange Customs, Incredible Fiets, and the Quest for Cycling Paradise), his blog, riding, and his uncanny resemblance to Hugh Jackman:

Bsnyc jackman 2

Honestly, I cannot tell them apart.

And here’s — for your viewing convenience — the viewer for the interview.

If by chance you can’t make it live, both this viewer and the Spreecast page itself will have a recording of the interview available shortly after the interview.

If you’ve got questions for BSNYC, I’d love to have them — either during the interview where you can ask them live, or post them in the comments here.

I’d love to know how BSNYC feels about bike-share programs that he’s perhaps witnessed abroad and what his take on the CitiBike program is for NYC. The hundreds upon hundreds of the bike-share stalls propagating in the city is shocking. NYC cycling isn’t for the feint of heart….

    Dear Mayor Rob Fords –

“DB” as in dude bicyclist or dust bunny? My dog is confused.

Ask him what’s up with the topless girl on the recumbent. Is that his favorite pic in the whole world or what?

Are you acutally another pseudonym for Eldon Nelson, like the Fat Cyclist?

I’m a fan of Eben Weiss! I love his books. I bought his book, “The Enlightened Cyclist”, in amazon. I am totally satisfied with his works. Great guy! :-)
