The Hammer, Austin (of NICA) and me, hanging out with kids from the Leadville High School MTB team, before watching a screening of Singletrack High, presented by Gu. A great fundraiser for a great cause. And a packed house!

Good you got to go to the movie, if they are like most kids, and I’m sure they are, they would be happy to have someone so famous.
By the way who is that guy with the Hammer? By the way he acts you think he was famous just because she lets him hang around.

High School racing, nobody has to make the “team” and all bikes are cool. One of the best things I ever got involved with

Great program. I volunteered at the first NICA race in Washington state a few years back.
I’m now involved with an offshoot of the NICA program here in Washington, now run under the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance – Washington Student League. I coached/ran (with plenty of help) a junior high team of 14 kids last season. Super cool experience.
Anything that get kids out there riding and/or racing is worth the time…
