New Blog Name and Design!
I admit, I am still a little broken up about losing the Bloggies. A designer friend of mine told me that in addition to my poor writing, my garish site design probably had something to do with it.
So I’ve done a little research and soul-searching, and have come up with a new design — and a new name for my blog.
I can taste next year’s Bloggies award already! (It tastes like chicken, unsuprisingly.)

I think the new design nicely expresses your sensitive, feminine side that before now has been hidden beneath a feigned sarcastic, quasi-comedic exterior.
Congrats on finally coming out of the closet! I look forward to your upcoming tales of meandering through the beautiful outback on a bicycle…

I do like the wheel and multi-tool, my compliments to whomever you plagarized. If you’re going to continue the (stolen) theme, might I suggest Fabio as your cover model. My wife has a shelf full of novels you could “research,” just change the words cowboy, tennis player, rugged firefighter, etc. to pioneer cyclist. Team Estrogen will be proud.

LOL!! That is awesome Fatty! I have started reading ‘Confessions of a Pioneer Woman’ since you started running for the Bloggies, and when I logged on to check your site today, I thought I had typed in the wrong address.
I had to tripple check. Then I noticed the wheel’s and multitools lol

Is Pioneer Woman becoming the Fat Pioneer tomorrow? Fatty, although I think the design is quite lovely it needs more flowers. That and the spandex will end all our social lives. Or perhaps improve them.

OK, I’m better now. I went for a ride, and I watched “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” with my kids.
Fatty, I do like the new look; The flying multi-tools and pink chain rings are a nice touch. Thanks for providing a link to the source of your inspiration. Pioneer Woman’s writing is witty and zany and her bubbly personality shines through in every word. I might be tempted to switch to reading her blog, if she wrote a little more about cycling and less about cattle.
